The Parish Education Commission’s purpose is to be the basic unit for educational planning and policy making for the whole parish. It serves in an advisory capacity to administration. The commission is not responsible for the creation and administration of rules. It encompasses the parish school, and parish religious education programs for pre-schoolers, school age children, youth and adults.
